I like Joel... but I could see an upset, Joel could come in over confident. So far, best odds I can find on Seda are at Bet365 for +600

Too bad I dont know anything about that Castillo guy on the undercard. Because Michael Moore is a washed up fighter with a chin of glass.

Joel is very confident, and you are correct, he
may be OVERLY so. But he is a superb boxer. I
took the over here on the round prop. I am
going to research this Moorer thing and see
maybe I can get a read. If so, I shall return.

Almly, go to www.boxrec.com and check these
guys respective records. Castillo is a C or
D level opponent. He is 29, a 7 year edge over
Moorer, but has fought only club fighters to
pay the rent I suppose. As much as Moorer is
probably shot for the most part, he a least did
fight in Jan. of this year. Means he may be in decent shape. I would probably take the chalk here IF I was to wager, which I am not.

No play for me with this BS. Why dont any of the books have lines for the three HBO fights on the 17th? Pinny has a line on Ebo Elders fight and a few other no name fights but not those. Olympic is weak now with boxing. What other books put up boxing lines?

I wish there was an over/under line on DLH vs Hopkins. I'll be making a play that fight goes the distance.

Micheal Moorer weighed 251 pounds

IF Castillo don't get blown out early, I don't see how he could not have a chance. Moorer isn't used to carrying that type of weight in the ring. I don't know enough about Castillo to bet that fight though

I would be shocked if Seda beats Casamayor. Casamayor is a world class boxer. Seda has horrible balance and is pretty slow. He has some pop but Casamayor has a great chin.
Seda's chin is questionable to say the least.

seda`s undefeated record is a mirage......he was well on his way to getting knocked out vs derrick gainer before he was lucky enough to have the fight stopped on a technical no contest.........

valdosta hit the nail on the head,imo....

i have to say that theres around a 35 pound difference in the moorer fight....moorer must look like a pig....

he can`t be quick....and his stamina can`t be good.....

i know nothing about castillo,though....

a friend on another site brought up the niida/arambulet over and i hooked that up with the soliman/joval over..

i took both overs and hooked them up with casamayor......and several other plays...using the two overs as the constants...

btw, soliman may be a very live dog in that fight....

hitter......that`s a toughie.....these guys that are jumping in and out of their optimum weight classes always give me fits...

a big height difference....both punchers....

but,the one thing that really has me worries is corrales` whiskers....i think tonight`s casamayor fight confirmed in my mind that joel isn`t a puncher...i don`t care what i hear...the guy still throws alot of arm punches....he trys to get guys to lean into his shots to help his power...

but he`s not a big puncher....the seda knockdown tonight wasn`t really a knockdown....

and corrales was getting hurt consistently by casamayor until casamayor inexplicably fought scared in most of their last fight....

if casamayor was hurting corrales when he got aggressive, with punches that really didn`t look like power shots, freitas will reallly hurt him....

if he`s willing to take a chance or two...you can`t stand outside against corrales like casamayor did in the second fight...you have to take chances...

but, goosen has corrales using that jab....it`s tough to get inside...

i need a little time to talk to some guys....not sure yet....

I've already laid a nickel on it but I was thinking about going alot more. Like I said in a previous post I think Corrales has a soft chin and soon as Freitas catches him its all over. I also laid a play on the under 9.5 rounds. I knew Corrales was taller than Freitas but I didnt know he's seven inches taller than him. I've seen Corrales listed at 6"0 and Freitas at 5"5. I didnt realize Acelino was that short. So this has me holding back now. Seven inches is a huge height advantage.

I dont even think Freitas is a great boxer. But the guy can hit. I had a really strong feeling Freitas is going to knock him out but that 4 foot height advantage is tempering things for me.

Agree with almly on the height thing. Did you
guys see the fight the other nite with Quinones
and Mora? Quinones was actually leaping off his feet trying to hit this guy who had a 7 inch advantage over him. It's much easier to punch down than to punch up. Of course Popo is
way better than this Mora clown, but for me
hunger and motivation are key factors here. Diego is maybe the hungriest guy around. I believe is has completely rededicated himself to his professsion and will tend to be a boxer/puncher as he moves through the moves.
I go with Chico here.

You guys should be looking at both guys abilty to punch and take a shot. Yeah, Corrales has been down but he always gets up and keeps on trying. He's never really been out of it. Freitas has been dropped as well and he is very sloppy. You can see his right hand coming from a mile away, which is perfect for the little reflexive hook that Corrales throws. That hook looks like nothing but it messes guys up. Both guys can hurt each other.....real bad. It's not just Freitas that can hurt Corrales.
